Born in the renowned glass region of northeast Italy and refined in the demanding world of New York City construction, Adotta Metafora is a quintessential, refined glass wall system. It’s proprietary components put forward design continuity and seamless integration. The superfluous has been stripped away, leaving raw aluminum, glass and steel. Aluminum profiles are cut on-site for nearly invisible seams in any finish. All connections are tightly sealed for superior acoustics. Frameless glass doors with exposed hardware stand bold and weightless. Metafora can adapt to any space with a multitude of customizations. Available in single or double glazed, can accommodate glass up to ⅝” in thickness.

SWING

Elegantly frameless when opened, acoustically sealed when closed. Adotta Metafora fameless swing doors can be up to 10 feet high in either glass or wood and a variety of finishes. Proprietary offset pivot hinges allow for 90-degree opening when against a wall and up to a full 180-degrees where space allows. Acoustic drop seals for additional sound insulation can be seamlessly integrated. Double glazed door option with flush fame and integrated hardware is also available.

SLIDING

As with the rest of the Metafora System, the sliding doors are carefully designed to fit seamlessly within the structure of the profiles. They are fully integrated, taking no extra space, sliding as close as possible to the stationary glass. This design along with an automatic drop seal, makes for among the best acoustic performance of any single glazed office front sliding door. Metafora sliding doors can also available in wood.

PIVOT

For double doors, doors that need to open both ways, with hold-open, self-closing or automated capabilities, Metafora has a variety of options. For cafes and conference rooms, we offer frameless or framed, single or double glazed pivot doors available with either floor closers or concealed overhead closers.
